About

Our 212 acre property, the ancestral home of the Esopus Munsee people, and later the Chambers Farm, is located in Ulster Park, New York, on the Esopus Creek. It was purchased by a group of small investors in 2016 to protect Hudson Valley farmland from development and to provide local farmers with nice, long, 30-year land leases, allowing them to truly grow roots. The EAC received a conservation easement from Scenic Hudson in 2019, ensuring that the land will always be used for agriculture.

The EAC is a home for several farms that grow a variety of crops that are sold on site, locally, and in New York City, plus some chickens, sheep and goats. Community activities on the farm include CSAs (community supported agriculture), kids summer camp, seasonal Native American ceremonies, musical events, sing-alongs, potluck meals, and more.
